FCS Senior Scout Bowl

2010  FCS  Senior Scout Bowl General Player Information

WHO- The Collegiate Development Football League is the host for the first annual, ” FCS  Senior Scout Bowl”. 

WHAT-  The  FCS  Senior Scout Bowl has been established to show case FCS Division football player talent . Only seniors with no remaining eligibility are eligible to participate.

WHEN- The game will take place in Ramapo, New York,  on Saturday December 11, 2010 , 2pm kick-off.

ITINERARY- The following is provide as information for players, fans,scouts, and media in planning for the events leading up to the First Annual  FCS  Senior Scout Bowl on 12/11/10, 2pm kick-off

• Wednesday12/8/10- Player, coach arrival and Check-in, at the official Hotel headquarters.  “Meet and Greet” organizational social at the DoubleTree Hotel, Mahwah, New Jersey 7:30-9:30pm, Banquet hall..
• Thursday 12/9/10-  Final player check-in and distribution of practice equipment.8:30am-9am, room TBA
• Thursday 12/9/10- Practice session #1- 10-12:15pm at Main Field/Bubble, lunch break, Practice session #2, 2-4:15pm.at Main Field Stadium / Bubble. Practice session #3- team meetings at Hotel  7-8:30pm, rooms TBA   (note  practices at Main Field Stadium  and Bubble  are open to the media )
• Friday12/10/10-Practice session #4- 10-12:15pm at  Stadium, lunch break, Practice session #5, 2-4:15pm.at  stadium Practice session #6- team meetings at Hotel  5-6pm, rooms TBA
•  Friday 12/10/10– FCS Senior Scout Bowl Player Banquet, 7-9:15pm, Doubletree Hotel,  Banquet Hall
• Saturday 12/11/10- Player meeting s by teams, rooms TBA 9-10am, Player pre-game meal at Hotel 10am.
• 12pm players arrive at stadium for walk through and pre-game warm-up.  Full gear on field pre-game warm-up at 1:25 pm. Game kick-off 2pm. post game wrap-up 5-6pm
• Saturday12/10/10- BSN/ Collegiate Development Football League College scouting combine; 9am-11:30pm. at the Stadium bubble   on game day.

WHAT YOU GET- you get- The FCS Senior Scout Bowl initial player invite letters will be arriving on college campuses in the first week of October.  Information and itinerary will be included as players will have a commit deadline beginning 10/15/10.  The 90 top senior players from the nation will be chosen to fill 2 teams .  The selection committee will establish teams for the North and South with 2 players deep at every position for both the offense and defense. .

 Players will receive the following;

• Logo apparel the game practices
• Participation Award
• Complimentary Award Banquet ticket
• Complimentary BSN player profile/Verification combine
• Sponsors product package

HOW?- The players are responsible to arrange for their own transportation and lodging. The game is soley supported by a player participation fee of  which is due upon final player commitment.  Each player will receive and be responsible for a full page “player profile” page in the game program. (Note; this can be utilized to assist players in  raising money for travel, lodging and registration expenses  )
